Our Fondant Cake Flower Stainless Steel Ball Sugar-craft Modeling tool is ideal for use with fondant cakes, sugar paste, sugar flowers, edible handmade characters, petal paste, marzipan, cookies, or craft clay.
The ball is used to thin out the edges of petals to make realistic-looking sugar flowers. Simply hold the tool so the center of the ball aligns with the edge of the petal, then trace around the edge.
For a ruffled flower, do the same, but press down and push the ball tool making small back-and-forth motions around the edge of the petal. Use different size ball tools depending on how big or small you want the frills!
